Very surprising that they picked Affirmative Action for the topic. “Justified” is a key word in this topic for sure, and, because of it, I think it makes the topic more balanced.

I wish they had left out the “to promote equal opportunity” part out of the resolution. Even though it probably would have sounded even more “LD”, it would have balanced out the resolution in my opinion.
This is the topic for districts for us. I feel so royally effed, because I will undoubtedly flip neg almost every round.

I don’t think it’s that one-sided; however, that does not make it a good PF topic. I am inclined to agree with Jonathan Peele more than ever. Stop selling our topics. Send stuff like this back to LD.
