The Harvard Debate Council, the organization that runs the Harvard High School Tournament, also runs a Policy Round Robin on the two days before the regular tournament. This year it has decided to add LD and Public Forum Debate round robins. Jeanine Sinanan-Singh and Graeme Crews, first year students at Harvard, will be directing the Public Forum Debate Round Robin.
The Harvard Round Robin will be held on Thursday, February 11 and Friday, February 12. Fourteen teams will be selected and divided into two pods of seven teams. The top team from each pod will meet in a final round.
Food will be provided for all meals, all teams will be provided with t-shirts and tote bags, and handsome trophies will be provided to top teams and top speakers. Judges will include a large number of former Public Forum Debaters attending colleges in the surrounding area. Each prelim round will include 2 judges and finals will likely include 11+ judges.
Additional information and the application form are available online.

Oh okay, I wasn’t sure until reading the information but any team can apply. This should be awesome; since the app is free, I’m going to give it a shot.
Yes, let me make this sufficiently clear: anyone may apply to the Round Robin. Only 14 teams, however, will be selected from those applications to compete.
Remember, the deadline is fast approaching. Applications are due the 14th! That’s less than a week away.
Good luck!
This is going to be a outstanding tournament. The three students running it are all pros. I look forward to judging!
The judging seems like it will be superb.
Is there any chance of a deadline extension?
Anyone have any knowledge about who has been invited?
