The CX topic ballot for 2010-11 has been narrowed to two choices:
China
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic engagement with the People’s Republic of China on one or more of the following issues: trade, economy, environment.
Military Deployment
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially reduce its military and/or police presence in one or more of the following: South Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey.
The 2010-11 topic will be announced on January 8, 2010. Because of the NFL’s involvement with The People Speak (TPS) and the International Public Policy Forum (IPPF), it is almost a certainty the the Public Forum Debate topic for September, October, or November will overlap with the CX topic that is selected.
