Can someone explain this topic in more detail. I understand the premiss, but can someone give some more detail or tell me where i can find an explaination?
I do not think it will be hard for novices at all. Since, none will most likely be going to a national tournament, so them debating this topic in novice divisions wont be hard at all. I feel like this topic is simple to understand and figure out the ideas for each side….
After arderously researching, I have uncovered a few diamonds in the rough for the pro side. Noticeably, the chaff to wheat ratio distorts our ability to spread the flow. However, those diamonds are quite luminous.
no it’s not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmph. Those diamonds in the rough for the pro side are more precisely pearls in a desert of swords. However luminous, proceed with diligince as it may impale your case.
STOP SAYING MY NAME! And clearly, the pearls in a desert of swords is technically rubies in a cyclone of dismay. Although if we spread the flow studiously the debate will be measurably more flaccid. VIVA LA PUBLIC FORUM!!
This will be my second PF tournament, my second DEBATE tournament ever. My twin sis and I were the PF champions in our first EVER debate tournament today! I am instantly a PF geek DD This resolution = EPIC WIN I am a progressive liberal so both of these issues are of utter importance to me
I wish I could have found this two weeks ago…I have a debate on this resolution tomorrow night at my school to prepare us for interscholastic competition. Very nervous…I am a novice as well. I do very well in my first speech and summary, but when it comes to crossfire, I wish I could be a little more clear and precise.

I can understand your situation, but as public forum debaters, we do not have the luxury of choosing what side of the argument we want to be on. Even though you may not agree with one of the arguments, yet you lost the coin toss and got the wrong side of the argument that you wanted, it is best to study both sides and be prepared for either side. You just have to deal with the fact that you may not get the side that you wanted.
I have been amassing cites for the Jan topic as I cut cards. I have twice the number of cites that I had when I started this morning. Ugh. 2 months ago

This is such a skewed topic. The IPPF resolution is terrible, and so are its derivative topics.
rofl this is going to turn into util vs deon….EWWW
I’m fairly sure I know how I can run this good.
hey neg can argue both sides
Is Blue Key using this topic or November? Anyone know?
DRATS!
I find the placement of a comma following “when in conflict” highly skewed. It is clearly biased towards the “Pro-” opinion. Humbug!
Blue Key is using this one
No it’s not.

CRITICAL INFORMATION / UPDATES
* Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum will use the November topics
i would actually say this topic is equally split b/c u would be able to argue either way and u would just have to show y ur side comes first
Dang… this will be hard… at least you can argue both sides… this is defo gunna be hard in the fact that i am a Novi and all…
