VH1’s new pop cul­ture debate show, The Great Debate, will debut on Mon­day, July 6 at 10/9 Cen­tral and will run for five con­sec­u­tive nights. This show looks deriv­a­tive of Best Week Ever and will have celebri­ties focus on such hard-hitting top­ics as:

• The Simp­sons vs. Fam­ily Guy
• Madonna vs. Michael Jackson
• Van Halen vs. Van Hagar
• Star Wars Fans vs. Star Trek Fans
• ALF vs. E.T.
• Bey­once vs. J-Lo

The show will have a kick­off event on Mon­day, July 6 in New York City that will fea­ture Ivy League stu­dents. Sneak peeks of the first five episodes are online.
