Most people in the debate community use PDF files on a regular, if not daily basis. Please be aware that there is a security vulnerability in the wild that affects Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader for Windows. It is exploited by rigged PDF files. The exploit does NOT affect version 9, but it does affect 8.1.2 and earlier.
I strongly encourage everyone to get the 8.1.3 patch or upgrade to version 9.
Under the Help menu, choose “Check for Updates” or visit the Adobe site to download the latest version.
