Mahe­sha Sub­bara­man has announced that the Loquitur pod­cast is going hia­tus while he devotes his energy to a new project: The Amer­i­can Debater which has been soft-launched via Facebook.

The Amer­i­can Debater (TAD) is described as “…cross between TIME and The Atlantic Monthly for the high school speech/debate community.”

It will be inter­est­ing to watch this project unfold. They are cur­rently seek­ing con­trib­u­tors and editors.
