Information out of Las Vegas has been slow today and we’re not sure what happened after Round 14, but we do know the codes of the final two teams:
N214 vs N220
We believe that the final round will pit William J. Beshears & Evan T. Lee from Monsignor Kelly Catholic in Beaumont, TX against the unbeaten team of Meredith Potter & Caleb Frye from Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, NC.
Don’t forget that Debate Central will be streaming the final rounds of PF, CX, LD, U.S. Extemp, International Extemp, and Oratory. You must have Appleās Quicktime 7 or later installed to view the stream. Quicktime can be downloaded for free. The address for viewing the final round is: http://www.uvm.edu/debate_theater/.
The Public Forum Debate Final Round will begin at 1:30pm Pacific Daylight Time. The Awards Assembly will begin at 5:30pm Pacific daylight Time.
Congratulations and good luck to the finalists!

I am really excited to watch the PF finals, but I’m not getting reception. Help!
It isn’t working for me at the moment. I assume it is a technical issue in Las Vegas. Hopefully they will get it resolved soon.
I judged Will and Evan at the LD State Debate for TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) this year. It will be a great debate.
Did anyone figure out how to work the live feed?
It is still not working for me. I have emailed Dr. Snider at Debate Central, but I have not received a reply.
Either they’re having technical problems, or the NFL is preparing for a major Rick Roll.
I’m not getting it either…I hope they get it running in time for pf finals or just post all the videos later.
Since the NFL has a agreement with Dale Publishing to sell final round DVDs, I’m certain that the arrangement with Debate Central is to just stream the video live and not to record video for later use.
I finally got it to work a few minutes ago. I am currently watching the final round of CX. There is a bit of an echo, so it is a little difficult to hear (at least CX).
For what it’s worth, I could not get it to work in Firefox 2. I don’t know about the new Firefox 3. It does work for me in IE7 and directly in Quicktime 7.5.
