New Debate Evidence Program

by PFDebate LLC on January 3, 2008

Evidence Scribe is a new evidence management and brief creation program developed by Isaac Evans.

Using a powerful yet lightweight database structure, Evidence Scribe allows you to add, edit, search, organize, export, and print debate evidence in an intuitive, streamlined fashion like never before! The program was developed from start to finish by Isaac Evans, an NCFCA national semifinalist, with development reviews from other debaters.

Evidence Scribe is a Windows-only program and sells for $29.95. Screenshots and demonstration videos are online. Evans’ background is in home school debate, so I don’t know how well it works for NFL debate events. However, it appears that you can customize the output styles.

Debate Evidence Blocker and DebateAddict are other evidence management programs. I’m not certain that Debate Evidence Blocker is still being updated and marketed.

Evidence Scribe is a great program. Our club has used it and it has been a great benefit in saving time and our teams are much more efficient with their time.
