We apologize for yesterday’s downtime. We upgraded from a shared hosting account to our own virtual server. Our hosting service did not mention that there would be some downtime while the domain name server information propagated until after the switch was complete.

Moving to a virtual server with two dedicated IP addresses should make the site faster and more reliable. We are no longer at the mercy of other websites on the same server that have, in the past, brought this site to a crawl.

This is a step forward.
