As someone who grew up in a Jewish family, I was always annoyed that things would be scheduled over Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, etc.
But at the same time, I always wondered why it was only Jewish holidays that became news worthy. Don’t Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and every other religion in the world have religious days that would conflict with things like debate tournaments?
