The Baltimore Urban Debate League has produced what is surely the first debate-related comic book, Debate Komiks #1, which is titled “What’s So Funny About Nuclear War?”
The purpose of the comic book is to entertain and teach about debate. The book features debaters from two rival schools:
Super High School
- Evidence Man
- The Constructive Kid
- Kritik Woman
Evil Academy
- Dr. Drop
- Apocolypto
- Speed Freak
Debate Komiks is the first title. There is also talk of another comic book titled “Debate War Stories.”
