The PF Difference was released in late 2006 by Dale Publishing Company. You may know Dale Publishing from their sale of NFL Final Round tapes and DVDs.
The PF Difference is a CD/DVD combo targeted at coaches. The author is Linda Box. Ms. Box is a member of Public Forum Topic Committee and was the coach of the 2005 Ted Turner Public Forum Debate NFL Nationals Finalists from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in Missouri.
While we have not had an opportunity to review the package, Carla Brown of Dale Publishing tells us that the instructional DVD contains approximately 20 minutes of video and the CD contains a set of instructional worksheets. The PF Difference sells for $50.

The DVD isn’t real bad for introducing someone to novice PF debate. I personally found the video to be way too basic to benefit me (I’m a junior in my 3rd year of competition). It has helped many of our novice teams to win many different awards at tournaments this year. I would be careful though, while the video is basic and teaches good remedial knowledge of PF, it can at times thorough information at you WAY too fast.
