March 2007 Topic Announced

by PFDebate LLC on February 1, 2007

Resolved: That the credit available to American consumers should be significantly reduced.

The topic was incorrectly worded on the NFL website this morning. A big thanks to Jason Kline for bringing this to our attention. The correct wording is:

Resolved: That the quantity of credit available to American consumers should be significantly reduced.

yeah…this is the topic for nj state championships and districts….big business, lots of data, and probably a few arguments about poverty…its big box all over again….seems to me the major pro argument will be the increasingh consumer debt and major neg will be companies are free to issue as much credit as they want

This might just be an acceptable case, you know. It’s not like the lobbyist case, I don’t think, ‘coz it doesn’t look so biased.
It’s not the most exciting topic, true, but it may be more balanced then the previous topics have been.

hey there.

I’m debating this resolution for class currently, and im wondering if anyone is willing to send me their briefs for this topic. It would be much appreciated. — Eeva
